After 30 years I finished this thing…
It shouldn’t be as exciting as it is, but I’ve had this sketchbook since 1994(?) or at least that’s the first dated sketch in it. I’ve finished others, but never quite got back around to this one until recently. Life has had it’s way with me recently and I’m taking the opportunity to find my making and creating again.
This is the result. A book filled full of 30 years of ideas and several new project ideas. I’ve thrown everything at this canvas wrapped tome…lol…ink, paint, graphite, marker…
I’ve been thinking a lot lately about what I still want to accomplish and in the top of my list is drawing and creating more, working on my weaknesses, developing my strengths and just making things and putting them out there.
After a long time of not being able to find myself it felt really good to be able to produce a thoughtful narrative to help remind me what I’ve done and give me more ideas for where to go.
